Jomsom Muktinath (3800m) Trek - A complete holiday trip for 15 days

Muktinath TrekNorth of Pokhara, Nepal's spectacular diversity appears at its finest The deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical jungle to a high, dry landscape resembling the Tibetan Plateau. This is the most popular trekking region, attracting over 75% of all trekkers (more than 30.000 annually). It's also among the tamest areas, with excellent lodges lining the main routes. Finding Nepal beneath the flood of trekkers can be difficult, but the scenery and culture are top-notch, and you can avoid the peak-season crush andstill get fine weather and views.

The views of the mountains are spectacular, and the route actually crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan range for some unusual views of the northern flanks.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival. Transfer to hotel/ our represent will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival. Just look for your name card banner or our office banner.

Day 02: Kathmandu guided city tour.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara via road or flight

Day 04: Pokhara Jomsom flight(2700m),walk upto Kagbeni, it is about 3 to 4 hour walk and altitude is 2800m

Day 05: Kagbeni to Muktinath, this day you will be walking slowly, it is all the way up about 5 to 6 hour duration and you will discover the most beautiful scenery in this hole trek. Also there is one more oppurtunity to enjoy horse riding with reasonable price( Your guide will arrange for you, "No worries"

Day 06: Trek to Marpha, People can spend few hours time easilty with the village enjoying with lot of apple juice picked from the hotels garden as well as the apple brandy.

Day 07: Trek to Ghasa

Day 08: Trek to Tatopani, A wonderful hot spring after many days walk.

Kagbeni Jomsom Muktinath TrekDay 09: Rest in Tatopani. You can spend all your day with hot spring and with a lot of delicious cake and orange juice(seasonal)

Day 10: Trek to Ghorepani (long day / hiking up about 8 to 9 hour)

Day 11: Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani
We get up very early and start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m). A brilliant spectacle, this vantagepoint provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside, we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). We descend to reach Banthanti, then wind our way to Tadapani (2540m).

Day 12: Trek to Ghandruk
This is an easy day with short down hill. From Tadapani the trail descends steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk. Ghandruk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, has their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandruk is one of the famous destinations of trekkers for its beautiful mountain views and easy reach from Pokhara or Kathmandu.

Day 13: Trek to Birethanti Nayapul,
From Ghandrung it's easy walking all down hill to Nayapul, and drive to Pokhara.

Day 14: Pokhara to Kathmandu by road/flight

Day 15: Departure/ drive to airport (or you can stay as longer as your time permits).
